Wrap Maintenance: Summer Care Tips

Although it’s “technically” not yet the summer season, the weather is warm and the beaches are bustling here on the Crystal Coast! As you know, your vehicle wraps needs a little attention every now and then. As the weather continues to warm up, there are some special care tips you should know to keep your wrap in tip top shape and looking great!

Wash your vehicle frequently

You should wash your wrap about once a week (more if exposed to a lot of dirt). Hand washing is best, but touch less automated washes are acceptable. Dirt and debris that is left on your wrap for an extended period of time can sacrifice the quality. Avoid pressure washing. This can lead to edges of the wrap peeling and other issues.

Clean off bugs, sap or bird droppings immediately

With seagulls out and about around the Crystal Coast, it’s likely your car will experience some unwanted bird droppings at some point in the summer. Make sure to clean off any dropping, bugs or difficult stains immediately with soapy, warm water and dry with a microfiber cloth. Still having trouble removing the stain? Give us a call!

Park in a garage or under shelter if possible

Any excessive amount of exposed time to the sun can sacrifice the quality of your wrap. Obviously, our product is designed to withstand weather and nature. However, you can better preserve your wrap and the quality by providing shelter when possible.
